This website is provided by the Council and this statement covers the Resident Portal
website. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For
example, that means you should be able to:
· change colours, contrast levels and fonts;
· zoom in up to 300% without the text
spilling off the screen;
· navigate the website using just a keyboard;
· navigate the website using speech recognition
software; and
· listen to the website using a screen

Compliance status: This website is Fully Compliant on Microsoft Edge browser with the Web Content Accessibility
Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, and Partially Compliant on other browsers and due to
the non-compliances listed below.
How accessible this website is
We know some parts of this website are
not fully accessible:
· when using a screen reader with Internet
Explorer and some mobile device browsers, failing 4.1.3:
error messages due to
non-completion of mandatory fields are not narrated.
· when using a screen reader with the
Chrome browser the keyboard navigation of drop-down list selectors is impaired
by the narration tool, failing 2.4.11.
· when using a screen reader with the
Chrome browser and some mobile device browsers:
the calendar date look-ups do not narrate.
user is not informed by the
narration of search results.
· missed Bin list items fail 1.3.1. Screen
readers may not be able to report the number of list items, failing 4.1.2.
· missed bin comment and tick box fields
fail 1.3.5 as they may not declare their purpose to screen readers.
· missed bin page fails on 4.1.1 as some
assistive technologies may fail due to the use of duplicate IDs.
The known issues above will be
addressed in the next release of this portal.
